Fertility Clinics Directory
Compare the best fertility clinics across Uruguay for IVF, egg freezing, sperm freezing, and donation services. Ranked by donor programs, services, and patient reviews.
Uruguay has the most developed and regulated fertility sector in South America outside Argentina. Law 19.167 (2013) governs all assisted reproduction, making Uruguay the first country in Latin America to regulate ART comprehensively. The law covers egg and sperm donation (which is anonymous by default but donors may authorize disclosure), surrogacy, and fertility preservation.
Clinics must be accredited by the national Fondo Nacional de Recursos (FNR), which partially subsidizes certain treatments for insured patients. Montevideo is the hub, with satellite offices in Maldonado, Salto, Colonia, and Punta del Este. IVF broadly costs $3,500–$7,000 USD; egg donation cycles $6,000–$10,000 USD.
Browse verified sperm and egg donors on Heirbloom. Some donors already have specimens frozen at these clinics.
