Fertility Clinics Directory
Compare the best fertility clinics across Thailand for IVF, egg freezing, sperm freezing, and donation services. Ranked by donor programs, services, and patient reviews.
Thailand is one of Asia's premier fertility tourism destinations, attracting patients from across the globe with world-class medical infrastructure, highly trained reproductive endocrinologists, and costs that are typically 50–70% lower than the United States or Western Europe. A standard IVF cycle runs $3,800 – $15,000 USD depending on the clinic and whether PGT-A genetic testing is included, compared to $15,000–$30,000 in the US. Egg freezing averages $3,400–$6,000, and sperm freezing can cost as little as $300–$800. Bangkok is the undisputed hub, home to JCI-accredited hospitals and standalone clinics that serve tens of thousands of international patients annually, with bilingual English/Thai staff, airport pickups, and full concierge packages.
Thailand's legal framework is governed by the Protection of Children Born through Assisted Reproductive Technologies Act (2015), enacted after high-profile surrogacy scandals. The law banned commercial surrogacy for foreigners — only Thai married couples can use surrogates, and the surrogate must be a blood relative who has previously given birth. However, IVF, ICSI, egg freezing, and sperm freezing remain fully legal and widely available to all patients. Egg donation is legal for married couples (including foreign couples married to Thai nationals); donors must be Thai nationals aged 20–35, pass physical and psychological screening, and may donate a maximum of three times. Sperm donation is available through registered banks with donors aged 20–45.
Thailand offers two main fertility hubs: Bangkok with 7 leading clinics ranging from JCI-accredited international hospitals to specialist boutique centers, and Chiang Mai with a newly opened advanced IVF clinic. All ART clinics must be registered with the Medical Council of Thailand and the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RTCOG). Many hold additional RTAC (Australia/New Zealand) or ISO 15189 lab certifications.
